As a socially responsible steel structure manufacturer, Wuhan Hongfumao Materials Co., Ltd. has consistently integrated sustainable development concepts throughout all aspects of its operations. During our transformation period, we have achieved a win-win situation for both economic and environmental benefits through two major initiatives.
In product R&D, our prefabricated buildings feature energy-saving and eco-friendly designs. The walls utilize rock wool sandwich panels with a thermal conductivity coefficient as low as 0.038W/(m·K), achieving over 40% energy savings compared to traditional construction. The developed detachable and reusable steel structure system enables an 85% recycling rate of building materials, significantly reducing construction waste.
Since expanding into international markets in 2024, we have actively implemented the green development concept of the "Belt and Road" initiative. For Southeast Asia's tropical climate, we developed special steel structures with moisture-proof and anti-corrosion properties. For the African market, we designed solar-integrated prefabricated houses that meet the power needs of off-grid areas. Currently, we are collaborating with a German green building certification agency and plan to obtain international sustainable building certification for all export products by 2025.
Looking ahead, the company will invest 5 million yuan to build a photovoltaic power generation system, with an expected annual output of 800,000 kWh, reducing carbon emissions by 600 tons. Additionally, we will establish a product lifecycle carbon footprint tracking system to provide customers with more environmentally friendly steel structure solutions, contributing to the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals.
